The heaps of dirt are all around the campus corner- the roads are always filled with dust and mud. The floors of almost every department are as dirty as never was washed or cleaned since ages. There is no proper dust bins where people can throw the garbage- the garbage is thrown to the beautiful lawn where people living around burns that which also results air pollution. The sweeper usually is reluctant to do their work properly. Almost everyone is the sufferer of this filth as these cause different common diseases like flu and allergies.

~  The students of different departments lament over the dilemma of cleaning, their clothes get dirty in the morning when they towards their respective departments as the roads are all dusty one of the students suggests that the road should be washed through water containers and the janitors should sweep roads 2 times daily.

 ~"It seems like the garbage piles alive near the journalism department tradition is still intact” says Malik Kashif Bangash.

~"There should be at least six dump-bins in each department of Peshawar university to maintain the clean environment”, says Akhtar Ali.

~"There are heaps of garbage in streets and corners of every square in University Campus as there is nowhere dedicated place for throwing garbage, nor do cleaning workers bother to come to collect it, says Samman.

Being a responsible citizen and student of Peshawar University and also being inquisitive minded thought to talk to Director of administration about the cleanliness of the campus says , ‘Soon the environment will be clean as they are working on cleaning Campus campaigns and Go green campaign and also mentioned about lack-age of janitors’

~While talking to the head of janitors said, "we are getting a lot of complaints and I personally strive hard to maintain cleanliness but don’t know why other cleaning staff is not working truthfully- duty should be worshiped".

Cleaning up the city with a staff of a few people is not possible, the janitors should be increased plus their wages should be increased as it is extremely tough job, they are more prone to diseases so the Administration should give them medical allowance and encourage them as they are human to in order to have a cleaner University Campus and the demand for grant of clean and green fund for dustbin installation, better disposal of garbage and waste pickers should be provided proper dress to save them from dirt and diseases.
